20th Sept	Temporary lead acid battery and electrical component installation complete	[TP, PC, BT]
21th Sept	Electric Saker "1st drive" (slow and timid!)	[TP, PC, BT - Everyone invited]

22nd Nov	Battery upgrade complete	[TP, PC, BT]
28th November	Manfeild track test	[TG, BT, TP, PC]

Late 2008	Compete in first competitive race (NZSC Series) and don't come last.

Motor - Shipping arranged 26th June (should take about 3 weeks, exact date to be confirmed)
Controller
Clutch - yes we are using a clutch (long term we plan on having computer controlled gear change to eliminate the clutch)
Charger - Using three chargers to get pack fully charged in ~2hrs
